My name is Kate and I have been a professional photographer for the last 14 years! Early on I started with grad photos and fashion photos. I eventually moved engagements and that's where I felt like I really started to come into my own. I love people, so being around couples in love and capturing them brings me a ton of joy. When I transitioned into wedding photography I took online classes, started second shooting, began networking, etc. and all that really helped me grow into the true professional I am today. I have currently shot over 300+ weddings in my career and I still absolutely love what I do!

My shooting style is a good mix of in the moment candid shots and natural feeling posed moments that lend towards a beautiful blend of storytelling sequences and high end portrait work. My goal is there anyone I work with feels seen, heard, and appreciated when they're with me! When I'm not out shooting, I love to adventure with my dog, sit in the sun and sip a beer, hike with my partner, and attend events in the city. I adore live music as well as art exhibits and I'm always looking for unique local fare to chow down on. I believe that life is for the living, and my general philosophy tends to be to ask "why not?" instead of 'why?' when presented with a new activity. I never plan on losing my adventurous spirit!
