Hello! My name is Melissa. I am from a small town in Virginia. I love the country living, my family, fur babies and gardening. I was always the face behind the camera in my family from a very young age. Shooting beautiful landscapes, happy families and just documenting my life, it makes my heart happy and to share it with others.

I started my business professionally in 2015 after taking senior portraits of my oldest great niece.  After the positive feedback from family and friends, people were wanting my services. Evolving from landscape, children, families and senior sessions to weddings, I invested in education from a few of the most successful photographers in the state of Virginia. I would call my shooting style more natural and candid than styled and posed, capturing emotions and private moments. I enjoy seeing what I capture in my lens. Getting creative with my clients is very fulfilling!

I would say I am a fairly laid back at weddings and events, making my clients feel at ease with me as their photographer. Compliments and a genuine smile go a very long way.
