Hey there! I'm Rachel and I've always been the "friend with the camera." I began shooting casually and learning about photography by taking classes in high school, then life happened. I picked up my camera for more than personal use again in 2013 to help a friend shoot a wedding. It was love at first click and I've continued to capture couples love stories at weddings ever since even staying friends with most of my brides long after they've said their I Dos.

One of my favorite things about weddings is how different they all are. Sure, there are some similarities, but each couple gets a chance to showcase their personalities throughout the venue choice, decorations, vows and of course dance choices. This is why I make sure and capture portraits of even the smallest details on the wedding day. I also love capturing candid moments, ones you may forget until you're looking back through your wedding album. Weddings also tend to be a bit of a family reunion, so capturing the standard family photo with the bride and groom is always a must. My favorite part of the day though is when I get the bride and groom alone for a few portraits of just them. Many times this is one of the few moments they get to stop and just soak in their wedding day, so helping them take that time and capturing the pure love between them takes the cake!
