My name is Shawn and I am a photographer based in Brooklyn, New York. I studied visual journalism at the Pennsylvania State University and for the past eleven years have been working as a photojournalist and event photographer. I use my background in journalism to tell a story with my couples and to document every aspect of their wedding day.I very much prefer to shoot in the candid aesthetic.

I'll give scenarios for the couple to play along with but most of the time I love letting the couple's personalities shine through. I like to think of my relationship with a couple as a collaboration project; with us being open and honest with each other.
